Nestled in the northern beauty of Vermont lies Burlington, a small town hugging the eastern shore of Lake Champlain. For one weekend each summer, this small town becomes the travel spot for Volkswagen enthusiasts around the northeast region. The attraction: Wolfsgart. Celebrating all varieties of European makes and models, Wolfsgart’s roots trace back to Volkswagen and to this day a large majority of the event is focused on the love of the People’s Car.
This year, Volkswagen attended Wolfsgart to showcase the 2018 Enthusiast Fleet, celebrating new 2019 models such as the Jetta R-Line and Arteon R-Line while giving fans an opportunity to experience its latest offerings up-close. Outside the main attraction of Wolfsgart the Seven Generations of Jetta series was on display, consisting of local northeastern cars spanning nearly 40 years of the Jetta model. The Mk1 through Mk7 gleaned constant attention during the two days they were on display.
From early-morning sun to rain and back again, the community endured it all with high spirits, and the weekend’s events will be remembered fondly for months to come.
